On the day 4, after breakfast, departure from your Hotel at 6:30 am and you will drive through Nyungwe National Park heading to Karongi with stop overs for tea plantations and tea leaves collections & views and stop in Nyungwe for authentic village tour involving passing through the village, harvesting produce and cooking local produce.  Afterwards, drive to Karongi. Meals and overnight at your Hotel.

Visit environmental Museum in Karongi and learn more on different plant varieties used for traditional medicine. Afterwards, experience boat ride in Lake Kivu, visit Amahoro and Napoleon islands. Afternoon transfer to Rubavu and overnight there.

Village Tours in Rubavu

In Rubavu, You will visit Potters community and do a cultural activity involving Handcraft experience with traditional women activities and dances. Go for Rubavu town sighting and drive to Musanze. Dinner and overnight in Musanze.

Offering an adventurous stay in a traditional rural, Rwandan village that has existed for centuries living with and next to mountain gorillas in the park. The village gives you a rare chance to meet local people, in their environment, with a taste of our culture and traditions. Activities include village walk, Visiting the king’s house replica, traditional dances,Visiting a local traditional healers among others. Afterwards,  visit the Ellen DesGeneress Campus of the Dian Fossey, have your local lunch and depart back to Kigali Airport drop off or your Hotel. -End of the Trip
